Project Description
SUBS Construction delivered a major surface drainage package as part of the Western Sydney International Airport development.
The works were completed within a highly active construction environment involving heavy vehicle movements, multiple contractors and competing work fronts. Detailed planning, coordinated scheduling and regular communication with surrounding work groups were critical to completing the package safely and efficiently.
Scope of Works

Formwork, reinforcement and concrete works for approximately 1.6 kilometres of ACO drainage

Installation of approximately 1.6 kilometres of ACO surface drains

Modification of 25 existing precast drainage pits

Construction of in-situ concrete pits

Core drilling of approximately 20 pits to accommodate the revised drainage design
